St. Joseph Services at St. Angela
St. Joseph Services educates youth and adults in some of the Chicago neighborhoods most affected by violence and poverty. We creatively leverage an extensive volunteer force and neighborhood collaborations to provide out of school programs, tutoring, sports, English as a second language courses, computer literacy classes, and job readiness training for our participants at low or no cost. SJS provides a warm and welcoming atmosphere for students and volunteers.
Partnering with community and fait h-based organizations to share facilities reduces costs and maximizes the impact of donations.
At SJS, we are developing youth, educating adults, and transforming lives.
