Welcome from the Principal

Dear Friends,

I am absolutely thrilled to have heard the call to come to St. Angela School!  My first days here have been a whirlwind but I see so much potential for a really exceptional school, and I cannot wait to be able to really dig in.  We are blessed in so many ways!

I’m amazed by the welcome I’ve received and the people I’ve met:  capable and extremely committed teachers, an awesome administrative support team, and a wonderful maintenance crew.  The resources of the Office of Catholic Schools and the Big Shoulders Fund are an extraordinary gift to a small school.

I’m blown away by our campus and the opportunities that it offers, and fully aware of how many generous souls it has taken to give us fields and trees and places to learn and play outside, and a gym that would be the envy of many, many elementary schools.  Thank you!

I’m tremendously grateful for the generous spirit of Sr. Mary Finnegan, RSM, who came back to the school she has loved for so long to help with a difficult transition.  I hope she will always be part of the family—she is a treasure.

Last, but never, ever least, the children:   warm and loving, funny, affectionate, always ready with a smile and a hug.  I am impatient to know each of them, and their stories, and to learn how we can serve them.

I am impatient to know all of it, and to lend my passion, my experience, and my skill to the cause.  Thank you for welcoming me!

Sincerely in Christ,

W. Bruce Schooler
